Hii i am suffering from allergic rhinitis from last 1 year and recently from 2 months i have frequent wheezing problem in night with AEC 13% and doctor advise me omnacortil 20 mg for 21 days and Montek LC with fexofinadine inhaler, currently rhinits problem is better, Pls advise is it ok for me to take omnacortil as i am 23 year old and after taking medicine i am feeling heaviness on chest and little uncomfort on normal breathing sometime An pls advise also best treatment to subsidise breathing problem due to esinophilic imbalance in my body Thanks
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of allergic rhinitis ans wheezing suggestive of bronchial asthma with AEC 13%. The Doctor advise you omnacortil 20 mg for 21 days and Montek LC with fexofinadine inhaler. You can certainly take Omnacortil only when required as this is steroid and not good in a long term. Heaviness in the chest and other symptoms are due to asthma. inhaler is the best treatment for asthma, where the quantity of hte medicines is least possible causing no problems at all. Take Calcium with Vitamin A and D in therapeutic dosages.
