Suggest Treatment For Alcohol-related Pancreatitis

I recently got out of the hospital. I went in and through tests and a CT Scan and my diagnosis was a very enlarged pancreas due to alcohol abuse. After iv fluids and a week in the hospital I was released with all my instructions. will I have a problem in the next few months requiring any surgery? Thanks. Jeff Diefenbach

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, enlarge pancreas is not the pathological condition and clinical symptoms and associated imaging study would be matter of concern, if it is the alcohol the reason behind this then better to stop this, surgery may not be option, follow the instruction given by hospital hope this information helps.
