Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

Baclofen is a muscle relaxant medicine and the medicine is used in drug addictions also to reduce craving and for relief of symptoms. You have started with 40 mg doses and the drug dose is really high dose. This has resulted in increased sedation, fatigue in you which resulted in poor functioning. I would advise you to please discuss with your doctor to reduce doses of the drug to 10-20 mg per day for about a week and then increase the doses progressively to your prescribed doses i.e. 40 mg per day. This would result in better tolerance to drug and you will not have any side effects.

Thanks, Hope this helps you.
