Suggest Treatment For Acne On The Upper Back

Hello, I am 27 years old, and following a massage I had about 2 weeks ago, my upper back broke out in acne. I have tried many different acne treatments and washes as well as scrubbing my back. I have made sure not to pick at it, but it just seems to continue to get worse, instead of improving. What more can I do to resolve this?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne on back which occurs as back has large number of sebaceous glans which gets filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

- Apply antibacterial ointment topically such as betnovate.

- Avoid oily and fried food and make use of product containing benzoyl peroxide.

- Take Multivitamin supplements.

- Drink plenty of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet.

- Start with oral retioids.

If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
