Suggest Treatment For Acne On Face

Hi. I m 41 years old. I started breaking out on my face assuming I was acne. It started on my forehead with a few bumps. Then I ended up with a cluster of bumps on the left side of my forehead. The bumps appeared on my chest and upper back. Now they are all over the sides of my face and going down my neck in addition to the original places. In the past 4 months I have had to take a lot of antibiotics and thought that may have something to do with it. It seems to get slightly worse everyday.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per you query you have acne on face which seems to be due to allergic reaction due to cosmetic products or soaps and it is due to clogging of ducts of sebaceous glands.

I would suggest you to wash you face 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil ,dust and bacteria on your face. Also cover it while in exposure to sun.

Apply vitamin E oil at night or tea tree oil . Apply kojic acid cream on face. Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products. Don't pick or touch acne. If acne still persists consult dermatologist for proper examination.

Doctor may prescribe ointments containing benzyol peroxide, azelaic acid or retinoids. Sometimes doctor may also prescribe antibiotics. Apply raw honey on acne .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get well Soon.
Best Wishes,
