Suggest Treatment For Acne And Its Scars After Using Celexa
Hi I am currently taking celexa as an anti-depressant and i have been getting acne, which i have never had before and i am 22. do you think this is because of the medication? also, i went to a spa today and they extracted my acne and pimples, and it has left marks. is this a good thing to be done to the face? also, how can i remove the scars and is this sort of extraction advised for the future?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne and its scars on face which occurs whens skin pores becomes clogged and clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. It could be because of Celexa and you should not get your acne and pimples extracted like this. I would suggest you to exfoliate your face once a week and apply aloe vera gel. You should apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day, which is very effective for scars and pimples. If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course as you are not getting benefited with laser therapy or dermabrassion. Cover skin with cloth when exposure to sun. Drink 8-9 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet.
