Suggest Treatment For Acne And Dark Spots On Thighs

Hi yes. I have a problem on my inner thighs. I have acne and dark spots and I really want to get rid of them before the summer. I m trying to lose weight and want my legs to look good, not horrifying to look at. Please is there any way I can lighten up my skin and get those dark spots off of me?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have noticed acne and dark spots on thighs which occur because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and there is clogging of skin pores and it leads to post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain proper cleanliness of area. Maintain dryness of area. Apply topical antibacterial cream such as mupirocin 0.2%. Apply kojivit cream for dark spots. Drink plenty of water. If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks. Apply aloe vera gel at night.
