Suggest Treatment For Acne And Blemishes

Hi Doc,
I was taking a acne treatment from last 6 month. It involves treating acne and acne brown marks which I had lot before treatment. I had been prescribed lot of pills (Isotroin-20), serums (VC-15), cream(Carofit ultra) and some hydroquinone stuff (Depiwhite gel) and also undergone through microdermabrasion. Now the treatment is almost over. However, my doctor has prescribed Flavo-C, Carofit ultra cream as under final list of treatment. In these 6 months, I have aggressively tried to take a sun protection by covering my face with cloth as well as using strong suncreen of SPF-50 and still does. Now my concern is, do I still need to take sun protection while going out after the treatment is over. there are times when I was not able to cover my face with cloth then I notice that my skin goes dark and blotchy. I am really worried about my skin now. Please help me with my queries.
Thanks,
Amit

Hello,
Since you have been using a lot of skin creams on the face, it is natural that face has become a bit more sensitive than usual. This happens after acne treatment in some cases. You have to use a sunscreen for more time as clearly you have sun sensitivity. This goes away after few months time. The only thing you need to be careful about is the type of sunscreen. It has to be non comedogenic, non oily and without any allergens.
