Suggest Treatment For Acid Reflux In A Person With Gall Bladder Removal

I have been taking brand acifex since 2002 after I had my gall bladder removed. Had terrible reflux unless I took it ,tried other brands none worked ,had head aches,Now they want me to take generic .tried it didn t do any good stll acid reflux,what do I do now?

If that generic is still the same as is Aciphex, thats Rabeprazole, there should have been no problem. It should have worked good.

I think the generic isn't of good quality or so. You should try somehow to return back to Aciphex, the most suitable for you.

Also consult a Gastroentrologist, for reevaluation and to rule of any ulcer in stomach or small intestine. He may go for Gastroscopy. Its necessary because with so long history of reflux it happens sometimes in patients.
