Suggest Treatment For Accidental Over Dosage Of Amoxicillin

My son had a reaction to amoxicillin after taking it for about 5 days. The doctor told me to stop giving it to him and prescribed azithromycin for 5 more days. I didn t realize it was only suppose to be once daily (the amoxicillin was twice daily) and I accidentally gave him 2 doses today. Is this dangerous?
