General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Breast abscess is known to heal very slowly. Hence, have patience till it heals completely.
You need to express milk regularly as collection of milk will block the ducts and causes filling of pus.
You can take analgesics like Paracetamol 650 mg for pain and inflammation.
You need to take care of the wound by getting the dressing done every alternate day or once in 3 days.
Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
Wish you speedy recovery.
