Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Disturbance And Diarrhea

im 46 yrs old, post total thyroidectomy yrs for pappilary ca thyroid and last yr had total hysterectomy for fibroid and ovarian cyst. im only on thyroxin 150mg and calcium. since 3 weeks i have diarrhoea and abdominal disturbance and puffy face. my TSH-0.007, T4-28.5. please give me advice

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of abdominal disturbance and diarrhea which seems to be due to disturbance of electrolytic balance of body due to excessive production of acid and it could be due to food intolerance, food allergy , bacterial or viral infection. Need not to worry. You should take small quantity of food and avoid large intake at a single time. You should avoid intake f outside food. Keep your bed with head on higher side. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like ornidazole , albendazole , omeprazole along with loperamide.You should eat light and non spicy , eat fresh fruits and vegetables and eat fruits like banana. Take oral rehydrating solution as well.
