What Causes Sudden Abdominal Cramps After A Hysterectomy?

I am a 54 year old woman who has had a hysterectomy but still have my ovaries. No cramps since that procedure in 2007 and now I suddenly am having cramping pain, not severe, but annoying, in one side then the other in what feels like my ovaries. Also seem to be more tired than usual.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Cramping pain in lower abdomen can be due to ovarian pathology or any pathology in colon or urinary bladder. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined , investigated including ultrasound and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
