Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Cramping And Diarrhea

Symptoms, in June was having diarrhea, abdominal cramping and it was very noisy, lack of appetite, nausea, fatigue and weight loss. Saw GP who took me off Metformin and ordered a week of flagyl. Showed some improvement, but then exacertation and was sent to GI specialist. I had had a colonoscopy in December and it was a-okay. GI specialist started me on probiotic and seemed to help then soon started again with diarrhea. So he put me on activia every other day and immodium as needed. Have had 35-40 pound weight loss total. Still not eating as I have previously due to feeling full. No Nausea or vomiting. Had soft /loose stool and usually 2 times a day. Fluid intake is normal. Urine output is okay. Have had a lot of burping after eating. No epigastric pain, but had upset stomach today. Took a dose of lomotil today. Will call GI specialist monday, but can you give me some insight as to what this problem is related too ?

HI
Well come to HCM
Chronic abdominal infection causes variety of symptoms right from upper GI tract manifestation to the lower GI Tract disturbances and the most likely infection would be "Protozoa" the best way to confirm this is stool culture sensitivity test, and this need to be treated accordingly, with the proper treatment this gets alright, hope this information helps.
