Suggest Treatment For A Red Line On The Buttocks

Hi, I m 19 years old and female. I am naked everytime I m not working because I live in my own apartment so I shouldn t have any irritation having to do with clothes or thongs. I have a red line starting from my butthole up my crack. I don t know how to get rid of it and I ve never seen anything like it before. I ve had it there for a year if not longer. What is this and how can I get rid of it? It s been there for a long time and appears even more red when I spread my butt apart. Help me!

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The red line may be due to intertrigo which is inflammation of the folds of the skin.
It can occur in the butt area, in the groin, under the breasts or in the armpits.

It is due to friction and moisture in these areas.

The use of a barrier cream or powder may help. Eg includes triple paste, zinc based creams or powders, greer go etc

I hope this helps
