Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Tongue

I have a painful lump inside my tongue that I first noticed around 2 p.m. yesterday. Well today it is slightly bigger and more painful... I keep reading about tongue cancer or clogged glands... Just to ease my mind till I see a dr. Hopefully tomorrow ... What is the likelihood of it being cancer or a gland? I won t hold you to anything, it just is painful :(

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some infection in the tongue due to bite or injuring tongue while eating.
nothing to worry about cancer.
You might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3 days.
Take some B.complex and folic acid medicine as well.
Apply some local anesthetic liquid locally.
Ok and take care.
