General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

noted history of painful cyst in the eye. it may be a chalazion or a sty that got infected. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably an ophthalmologist, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. diagnostics and management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly. proper antibiotic regimen will also be prescribed. avoid manipulation of the area and maintain the area clean.

hope this helps.

good day!!
