HI,
welcome to HCM
A boil can not remain for years. It is a very painful condition, if left unattended leads to rupture and emit pus and collapse within a weeks time. So your condition can be something else. As it remains for 14 years, painful recently?, it could be an infected sebaceous cyst or some other condition. Offensive smell also indicates it is likely be a sebaceous cyst. If so, it has to be removed.Consult a surgeon and get well.
