Hi welcome to HCM. Microvascular conditions of the brain need proper timely and a compliant drug therapy in the form of antihypertensives and antiplatelets. This can largely prevent complications of hypertensive encephalopathy and stroke. Its important that you stress the essentiality of these medicines to your mother.Until she improves the self compliance,i advise you to be patient with her and offer timely medications through you.Remember counselling has to be repetitive.Consult your doctor for further queries. Thank you.
