I have felt a hard lump in my side which feels as if they are under the skin but above my side ab muscles. I had an ultrasound scan which found 2 well defined hypoechoic foci which the radiologist report states does not have typical sonographic features of lipomas but are of uncertain aetiology they measure 11x5.4mm and 10x3.4mm. My GP seems concerned and advised that I see a surgeon and have them removed.....I do not understand the radiologist jargon.....should I be concerned?
