Suggest Treatment For A Lump In The Head

My 5 year old daughter hit her head really hard on the corner of a piano bench a couple months ago and had a large goose egg for a week or so and then went away but the lump has come back several times and then goes away. Tonight it came back again. Any thoughts?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Dear friend,
Your daughter having a lump in head after trauma. If i am your doctor i would like to know at which part of head, a lump situated? Post traumatic haematoma most common on scalp, but it doesn't go and come back. It might be other lump like meningocele or else coming from inside skull. Trauma is just incidence of attention, it might be present before it. Examination require for confirmation, so i think you should consult nearby surgeon.

Thanking you.
