Suggest Treatment For A Large Bruise On The Wrist

Around 2 am this morning, I fell off my bed and landed on my left wrist. It hurt so bad. I now have a large bruise on the thumb side of my wrist and a large bruise on the pinky side of my wrist. I am in constant pain, even when my arm is resting. It s hard to move my thumb and bend my wrist forward and backward. I got x rays done and the radiologist said everything looked fine. I have an issue with that. I ve broken my wrist before, same arm, and the pain I am experiencing now is almost equal to that incident. I do not believe it is just bruised. Should I go back and request a cast be put on my wrist as it is better to be safe than sorry? Or should I wait it out?

hii.welcome to healthcare magic.you are suffering from bruise in wrist.my opinion is that,
1.do cold compressions on the bruised area.
2.elevate the left hand using pillows while sleeping.
3.apply antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm ointment twice daily on the area for 7 days.
4.take analgesics like tablet ibuprofen twice for 7 days.
