Suggest Treatment For A Hole In The Heart

my elderly friends daughter has a hole in her heart since birth that never closed. the Dr. in Kentucky says there is nothing that can be done. the sides of the hole have hardened. she is 22, small framed, on oxygen, only one class a day and some none. her quality of life is not good. and suggestion or Dr's to recommend.

It is possible that the problem here is that the pressure in the pulmonary vessels has become high and irreversibly so leaving no option for correction of the heart disease without considering heart and lung transplant. I recommend she be seen at a center that specializes in both congenital heart disease and transplant medicine to determine if she is a candidate for repair or other care.
