Suggest Treatment For A Brown Color Spot On The Arm

Hi I just seen a doctor for a spot on my arm that developed about a month ago is now a dark brown color and I now notice another forming on my hand. The doctor had no clue what it is and decided to give me triamcinolone acetonide. I ask here if she doesn t know what the spot is then why is she giving me an ointment. She said she want to see if it will go away. The spot does not and never slid hurt or itch.

Hello,
From the history that you are giving i'll presume that it is a post inflammatory hyoerpigmentation after insect bite or sun induced pigmentation, because it is very acute in nature. It'd be really really helpful if you could elaborate on the size of the mark, raised or flat and whether or not it is increasing in size.
if it is not raised, applying depigmenting creams contaning kojic acid /hydroquinone could help with sunscreen during day time. If it is raised, you should get another consult with a photograph for accurate diagnosis.

I hope I was ableto address your concern
