Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my husband has a small blood clot in the lower part of his right lung and was put on warafrin and enoxaparin injections he has been doing this since last Thur. Yesterday and today he has complained of getting a headache on his left side and his left eye is slightly pointing toward his nose. Do I need to take him to the ER?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Headache with Stabismus of eye in the presence of blood clot in lung and on warfarin is highly suggestive of blood clot or bleeding in brain. Needs Urgent CT and if that was inconclusive then MRI Brain. Do workup for his blood clotting in lung to digout the cause through peripheral smear, Echo, Thrmbophilia screen. Hope it helps best. Don't forget to rate this answer after you come from ER and get relax. Take your best care and of your husband. Regards Dr Ejaz
