Suggest Treatment For Parkinson S Disease

Hi! Last week I was diagnosed with Parkinson s Disease. I am a 71 year old retired R.N. very active. I was told to stay active, eat right, and I may start Sinemet for tremor in my R arm when I decide to do so. Is there anything else [maybe holistically] I could be doing to slow the progression down? Thank you Vicki Adams

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Staying active is the best advice. In addition, Tai Chi and seeing an acupuncturist that is skilled in treating Parkinson's patients may help you.
