Suggest Treatment For PCOS While On Meprate

I m suffering from PCOS, i got my period on 5 april and after that i did not get so i have consulted my family doctor and she has prescribed meprate for 7 days but it has been 8 days after taking last dose of meprate but still did not get my periods and pregnancy result is negative.

Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow few lifestyle modifications like this before starting any prescription medications--

1) Try to lose weight if obese and make a plan for it.

2) Take a low-carbohydrate diet if you have PCOS discuss with your dietician to make a chart.

3) Make a plan for exercise and do it every day.

4) Try to avoid smoking

5) Do take your medication for ten days and repeat the next two cycles from the 16th-21th day.
