Suggest Treatment For PCOS And Amenorrhoea

hi doctor,my gynac suggested me registerone because i am suffering from PCOS and my periods stopped in between. she said whenever my periods stop for 2 months or more i take these tablets.it has helped me earlier but i wanna know does it have side effects? and also does it affect the natural way of gettin periods in any manner? what if i was getting periods on some particular day but i take registerone the previous day or before thinking that i wont be getting it sooner?. my age is 22. weight 65. height 5 4 .

Hi I think you should go for evaluation first. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done. You may try hormonal treatment for 6 months. Regesterone only will not help. You can try metformin and myoinositol and n acetyl cysteine for improving pco. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
