Suggest Treatment For PCOD

Hi doctor, I ve been diagnosed with PCOS for about 5 years now and have been put on Diana 35 since. I will be getting married in an year and want to know, how likely are my chances of getting pregnant. Does long usage of Diana 35 impact your future chances of pregnancy. I m 24 years of age.

I understand your concern
Aims of the treatment in PCOS are:
Regularize the period, reduce insulin resistance and maintain fertility.
If your period is regular then chance of pregnancy is high.
Diana 35 is effective to correct the hormone imbalance and regularize the period.
For maintain fertility you can take following advises in future
Tablet clomiphene citrate to induce ovulation
Tablet metformin to reduce the insulin resistance and induction of ovulation.
FSH hormone and its analogue
Reduce 10-10% weight if you are obese.
Avoid excessive sweets, salts in the diet.
Do regular exercise.
