Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Withdrawal bleeding is seen 3-7 days after the completion of the hormone treatment, sometimes it may take ten days. If you have not seen any period even after this period, you should be investigated further. If the endometrial preparation is not sufficient, a period may not ensue; so also when there are other associated hormone imbalances like an abnormal thyroid profile, hyperprolactinemia etc. These have to be corrected. A sonogram of the pelvis needs to be done, preferably in the trans-vaginal route, to know the status of the pelvic organs and detect any pregnancy/cysts. Maintenance of a healthy weight, healthy diet and regular exercise is needed to maintain good hormone balance. Metformin is another useful drug in PCOD to correct associated insulin resistance and induce ovulation. Hope this helps.
