Suggest Treatment For Compartment Syndrome In Right Calf?

I have compartment syndrome in my right calf about half way down on outside. It bothers me most when I go to bed at night and a lot of nights I can only lay on my back as that is the position it does not hurt. Later I am able to move to my sides to sleep as it seems to ease. What can I do to help this. Kerry

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. Compartment syndrome is a surgical emergency and certainly not something that you can report over a longtime. This is probably not the cause of your symptoms. I will suggest that you simply lay out what your symptoms are and let us try to put them together and provide a well rounded and sound recommendations.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information if need be.
