Suggest Treatment For Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have had the symptoms for 8 months now, and they only seem to be getting worse. It is very debilitating and I have had to give up my work and career and have become quite housebound. I am not depressed, but do find it a bit of a frustrating sickness as exercise only makes things worse, and even though I am eating well, taking immune boosting supplements, and resting, there seems to be no improvement. Can you give me any advice on how to improve my condition?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
You are a known case of "CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME " as mentioned by you , so I will try to advise you something , treatment & measures important in the management of C F S.
Many symptoms of C F S responds to treatment . Non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs alleviates headache, diffuse pain & feverishness.
Allergic rhinitis & sinusitis are common antihistamine & decongestant may be helpful.
Although patient may be AVERSE to psychiatrist diagnoses, depression and anxiety are prominent and should be treated.
You can take non-sedating anti depressants which improve mood & disordered sleep and may attenuate the fatigue.
Practical advise is this that consumption of heavy meal with ALCOHOL and caffeine at night can make sleep even more elusive , compounding fatigue.
As you mentioned that exercise deteriorate the condition so only modest graded exercise allowed .
Avoid therapeutic modalities that are toxic , expensive and unreasonable .
Hope this information will help you.
