Hello thanks for asking from HCM

OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder is a serious anxiety disorder in which individuals have repetitive, persisting, distressing and dominating thoughts agaist their will. Best treatment available is combination of behaviour therapy and medicines. Behaviour therapy includes methods like Exposure and Response Prevention, Systematic desensitisation or Graded therapeutic exposure. Progressive muscle relaxation and breathing exercises help to augment the treatment.

Medicines usually SSRIs are used. Fluoxetine, Fluvoxamine are mainly used in high doses in OCD. Clomipramine also have good results. I would advise you to take her to a psychiatrist and discuss her treatment.

Thanks, hope this helps you
