Suggest Therapy For Hallucinations

Last year i was prescribed Tramadol 50 mgs, Naproxen and Flexeril. For a pulled back muscle that lead me to not be able to walk or really move.

So i went into the hospital they gave me all the above medications, before the medications i was able to think normally, and was completely normal without any complications.

Since the medications were given to me during the first week i experienced Delusional thinking and hallucinations, during this time my brain felt funny like tingling sensations.. I started to loose awareness, my thought process was completely different than normal thinking. I began to buy things that i wouldnt otherwise normally buy, for example id go and buy these colored pants id otherwise ignore, they werent my style, and during the time id be buying something id normally not buy, id suddenly become more aware of my surroundings asking myself what am i doing here?

why am i buying this? and id move on. Not even aware that anything was wrong.

I had gotten confused, and experience behaviour problems as well. Short term memory was so off, id literally forget 5 minutes ago. (withinn 6 weeks i was taken off the medication when friends and family was starting to see i was having problems)

So for about a year it has taken me to get to the point i am at now. ive seen a neurologist, and a psychiatrist, both say see the other doctor, the psychiatrist says you need a neurologist! and the neuro says a psychiatrist, so basically im left with no answers to what has happenend and why, and why am i still having issues.

today i have had an MRI that showed the right temporal lobe to have something there, the first neurologist called a microscopic scar tissue, the second neuro, said it was unclear what to call it. and the EEG had some spikes when they did the light flashing test. but otherwise they were calling it normal.

I have memory problems now, i am not able to remember last week, what i did where we went ect.

If someone reminds me, i can remember the event but not the emotions or feelings i had when experiencing those times.

I am someone who has always remembered details of my life things that have been important, now i find it extremely hard to remember, like its just not there.

the other feeling i have is i feel like my brain has sensations on the right side, sometimes i feel like my brain is being pulled out of my body it causes severe dizzy sensations.

stress is a major complication, if i experience any stress i seem to have episodes of the above described.

sometimes while experiencing the confusion parts of the episode ill remember something last year that i went through, and tend to feel the exact same way i did at that time, or reexperience the memory.

I have trouble even explaining to others what i experience. i need help, and im not sure what to do anymore. the only parts that are gone from last year, is the major confusion, behavior issues, and loss of time.

any advice is appreciated!

Psychiatrist 's  Response
As you say that there is something in your MRI I will sugest to see a neurosurgeon. In case it there is no problem for him then there is time to see a psychiatrist.
