Suggest The Prognosis For Hodgkins Lymphoma
I am going to Rajiv Gandhi Cancer institute for my father who is a patient of lymphocyte depleted classical non hodgkins lymphoma. He has recieved 6 cycles of ABVD chemo therpay. he is doing well now. explain me about the prognosis? my doctor has referred for PET CT in Rajiv Gandhi. How much does it cost and how long does it take for results?

Lymphocyte depleted Hodgkin lymphoma has the poorest prognosis among all subtypes of Hodgkin lymphoma.
There is increased incidence of bone marrow metastasis and involvement of multiple lymphoid sites in this variant.
PET scan is performed to look for any metastatic focus in the body.
The cost of PET scan varies with different centers.
However, you can expected the price to be above Rs 20,000.
