Suggest Side Effects Of Januvia Medication

am taking 850 mg metformin 3 times daily and glipizide 10 mg twice a day and doctor just added januvia 50 mg at dinner, my question is i take the glipizide half an hout before dinner and am supposed to take the januvia with dinner, is this safe or will it drop my sugar to much

Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.

The very reason that your doctor has added extra medicine is due to your blood sugars not being controlled . So your sugar dropping too low is less likely .

Continue to take medications as advised by your doctor . You can do self monitoring of blood glucose by using a Glucometer. Do sugar check every morning for next 5 days and if the value is coming 70 mg/dl or less than that consult your doctor again .
