Suggest Side Effects Of Calaptin

I am adivsed to take Calaptin 40 mg thrice daily for my heart problem after ECG and Echo test. Spatula width is 24.9 mm and I am having difficulty in climbing steps and having pain in the heart even otherwise.Is this medicine safe over a long period of time? What are the side effects I should expect?

Calaptin is a calcium channel blocker. It decreases the heart rate and the force of contraction of the heart.
Difficulty swallowing or breathing
Swelling in the hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs
Fainting
Blurred vision
Slow heartbeat
Rash
Extreme fatigue
Nausea
Unusual bleeding or bruising
Lack of energy
Loss of appetite
Pain in the upper right part of the stomach
Flu-like symptoms
Yellowing of the skin or eyes
Fever are all possible side effects.
