Hallow Dear,
There are medical as well as surgical methods which will help you to terminate your unwanted
pregnancy. However, none of these methods are advised to be practised without a Gynaecologist's help.
You have passed 2 months; exact period of your pregnancy cannot be inferred from your history. I am providing you the options for terminating the pregnancy; you may choose suitable one for you.
A. For terminating pregnancy up to 9 weeks (63 days) of duration:
1. Tab. Mifepristone to be followed by Tab.
Misoprostol after 24-48 hours.
2. Misoprostol only: Tab. Misoprostol every 3-12 hours up to 3 doses.
These medicines should be taken by a Gynaecologist's prescription and advice regarding the dosage, schedule and routes of administration.
3. Surgical methods like MVA aspiration, suction evacuation, etc.
B. For termination between 9 and 12 weeks of pregnancy
1. Tab. Mifepristone to be followed after 36-48 hours by Tab. Misoprostol every 3 hours up to 5 doses.
2. Surgical methods like Suction evacuation
Since your pregnancy is under 3 months, I am not bothering you with the methods for termination after 12 weeks.
Usually the Medical Termination is complete within 24 hours but not later than 3 days of the last dose of Misoprostol. It is advisable to confirm the completeness of
abortion by
ultrasonography and not by urine pregnancy test as it takes about a weeks for it to become negative.
These medicines cause the developmental abnormalities in the baby; hence in case of their failure, the pregnancy should not be continued but be terminated by surgical method.
I hope this helps you.
