Suggest Remedy To Stop Vaginal Discharge

I am 44 years old sexually active with one faithful partner...I have white discharge quite often ...What is the remedy for repeated vaginal discharge with very minimal odor? Some times I use AF150 oral tablet as per my doctor's advice earlier and also use canestein lotion in order to avoid fungal infections.

Thanks for writing to us.

According to your information, light orange discharge with itching or odor is MOSTLY suggestive of vaginal infection (fungal/bacterial). Do a vaginal swab test and STD profile to confirm the diagnosis.

I suggest you to use Vaginal Suppository or Capsule (combined Clindamycin, Tinidazole and Clotrimazole) like CLINGEN FORTE at bed time for 7 days. One course of oral antibiotic may be required.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES:

1) Use VAGISIL cream to avoid vaginal infection in future and maintain genital hygiene properly.

2) Wear only COTTON clothes. Don't wear tight fitting clothes to avoid friction/ irritation. Take sound sleep adequately.

3) Take healthy diet with anti oxidant (like Vitamin -E or C, Selenium, Zinc etc) supplements. Drink plenty of water or juice for better systemic circulation. You must LIMIT Salty/ Sugary/ Fatty foods.

4) Avoid chemical cosmetics, perfume or scented bath products around genital area. Keep the area dry.
