Suggest Remedy To Stop Bed Wetting

my almost 11 year old daughter still wears pullups every night and always pees. Am I making it worse by allowing her this safety net or letting her know that she can pee whenever? I am very frustrated and the expense is getting too much. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
First of all you have to note whether she is never dry right from birth (primary enuresis) or she became dry at nights after 3-4 years and stated wetting the bed after few years (secondary enuresis).
If secondary you have to rule out UTI and Diabetes.
If primary reduce water intake by 7PM and complete dinner by that time.
Ensure she passes urine before going to bed.
Make it a point to wake her up whenever any one in your family gets up in the night see that she is woken up and ensure she passes urine.
Imipramine hydrochloride 25 mg daily at night may help in bladder control.
Do not insult her in front of others, rather you do not discuss this with others.
Appreciate her if she is dry sometime.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
