Suggest Remedy To Gain Weight

Hi Shehzad,I want to gain weight. I'm a working professional in an IT organization and have workloads all the time. I'm a male having 25 years of age with height of 172 cms and waist size of 28 cms. I also have a high metabolic rate(as per one doctor but i'm not confident about it).I do masturbate at times. In these circumstances, it is becoming difficult for me to gain weight even after having proper diet. I'm extremely worried and depressed about my health as i want to gain weight. My current weight is 42kg. Many people have said that i won't be able to gain weight. Is it so? Is there no medication or treatment available to help people like me? If there is, then is it a fast process or a slower one? or is this a problem with testosterone and masturbation? I'm willing to do anything that will help me to gain weight. Please suggest. Thanks & Regards, Snehasish.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

To determine if your weight is appropriate for your height, you may want to consider calculating your BMI (body mass index) with an online calculator.

If it is within the 18.5 to 24.9 range then it is normal.

To gain weight, you would need to increase your calorie intake so that the energy from your food and drink would be retained as fat.
This means increasing your portion sizes , increasing the frequency of meals and adding condiments (dressings, oils, butter) to increase calorie value.

You may not need any medication at this time.

I hope this helps
