Suggest Remedy For Urinary Problem

hi..i'm a 40yr old male (just turned 40) weighing 157 and about 5'6. i have been experiencing more frequent urination at nite along with dribbling down my leg as i walk back to bed. I have always gone to the bathroom at night at least once, but now it can be 2-3 times a night. I went to urologist back in February and they did ultrasound of prostate, bladder, kidneys, etc and everything looked normal. also had prostate exam at that time and it was not enlarged. he also did test to see if I was emptying my bladder fully, and that was ok as well. I have also recently been tested for diabetes to rule that out. That came back normal as well. Could this just be a matter of aging? Is there anything I can do like take a prostate supplement? what would cause this if all those tests are normal?

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,
After going through your case, i want to know-
1) Any past or recent injury to your back.
2) Any associated symptoms like tingling or numbness over lower legs.
3) Fever, burning while passing urine.

In your case there are following possibilities for your symptoms -
1) Urinary tract infections it is usually associated with fever, chills, burning urination.
2) Neurological problem related to your spine.
3) Other possibilities like diabetes, prostate problem are ruled out in your case. Hence there is no need to take prostate supplement.

I would like to advise you -
1) Urine examination.
2) Urodyanamic study that help in evaluating neurological problem related to urinary bladder.
3) MRI of lumbo-sacral spine for any cord or nerve compression.
