Suggest Remedy For Urinary Incontinence

Hello there. I am 36 years old. I am on here because I ve had a problem for some years now. I am dreaming that I am using the toilet, and come to find out, I end up wetting the bed in real life. When I was younger I was afraid to sleep because I never knew when it could happen. As I got older, I came to realize that it never happens when I sleep on my back. It only happens when I sleep on my stomach. What do you think can be wrong. It also depends on if I sleep in underwear or the type material shorts I sleep in.

Urologist 's  Response
Hi,

Decreasing fluid intake after evening, emptying your bladder before going to bed, keeping an alarm 4 hrs into sleep for getting up to avoid may help. If all this lifestyle modification does not help then can think of medical management which can be discussed after you try these measures.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Devendra Choudhary
