Suggest Remedy For Tiredness With High BP

I don t know what is wrong with me. I am a 37 year old female with a history of high blood pressure and diabetes. I am always tired-I feel like I could sleep for days. My whole body aches like if I had the flu. I am very overwhelmed and stressed all the time-to the point that it is making me just shut down. I cannot focus on anything. My house and office are a mess and I cannot seem to get them cleaned up and if I do it only takes a few hours and they are a mess again. I don t want to be around people and just feel numb most of the time. I have been crying a lot. I have been told I have severe anxiety and placed on an antidepressant but it does not seem to be helping. I don t have any motivation to do anything and feel like I am just existing. This has just developed over the last two months. PCP referred me to a therapist but not feeling like I am getting much out of it.

Dear as described by you it seems that you have depression because in this short description you have given almost every detail about depression . As you have told you are on antidepressants but it is not working . I would like to inform you that most of antidepressants take abt 6 to 8 weeks for it effect to come.if after that effect is not coming then and only then we can add another antidepressants .so duration of therapy is very important . Apart from this their are few other reasons that must be ruled out.these are anaemia that is deficiency in hemoglobin . Hypothyroidism that is most of time associated with diabetes that need to be tested be TSH level .UTI and PID can also cause chronic fatigue like this and is very common in female with diabetes so these need to be rule out.you must ensure that your sugar level is well controlled and blood pressure is within normal limit.some medications such as beta blocker can also cause fatigue and depression like symptoms . So you need proper evaluation . Hope this will help.
