Suggest Remedy For The Hamstring Point Injury

I have a hamstring insertion point injury that I have suffered from sprinting on a treadmill. It has been almost a yr and I am still having problems with recovery. I admit I have not quit my training regiment and I am sure that is part of the problem. What can I do to alleviate my situation.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be tendonitis or strain . Orthopaedic examination followed by MRI if needed can rule out that. It can be managed by local application of anti inflammatory gels like diclofenac or nimusulide or oral intake of tablets of that. Physiotherapy also can be done. If no improvement then local corticosteroid injection will help you. You should avoid exercise involving that area for atleast some weeks. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks.
