Suggest Remedy For Testicle Problems

Hi, I am very concerned about my right testicle. Its is higher than my left and it at an awkward angle usually. I have already seen my doctor and he said if it was torsion i would be in alot more pain. It is still uncomfortable and has been that way for 5 days. The doctor gave me antibiotics and I have been on the for 3 days and there has not been any improvement. He said he is treating me for epidiymits.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Very good explanation.
The right testis is always on a higher side than the left in a normal human being.
The torsion can cause pain only if the rotation is sufficient enough to cause obstruction to the blood vessels. Partial obstruction can not cause pain.
In your case this can be a very small rotation due to spasm of the supporting muscle.
A simple shower of warm water can help ease the problem and it is possible that the testis will come down in a normal position.
If it does not get a help of ultrasonography and color doppler to get a final diagnosis and the treatment will follow accordingly.
