General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Pain below ribs can be due to infection, injury, irritation to major organs like lungs, liver, diaphragm. Consider undergoing ultrasound abdomen and X-ray chest for better diagnosis.
Chiropractic is safe when done by a professional licensed practitioner. Some patients suffer with localized pain, radiating pain, headache, dizziness, nausea and other adverse effect which subsides on its own in few hours. In my opinion, it is better to take the above mentioned test if pain does not subside after few hours of the chiropractic session. Good luck. Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
