Suggest Remedy For Swollen Vein On Top Of Foot Due To Injury
I got my foot caught under a chair & compressed the top of my foot. It burned and hurt for a few minutes. Now I have a big blue swollen vein on the top of my foot that is hurting. I ve had ice on it for the last 15-20 minute. Do I need to do anything further?

IN the given situation of Yours,You seem to suffer from-Contused Foot with big blue swollen vein on top of foot.
There seems to be crushing of foot tissue and edema, with contused foot veins on top of foot.
Even after icing hurting pain is there.
Remedy-
In the given scenario-
Consult Surgeon and Get X-ray foot with ankle joint to rule out any bone injury.
Tab Advil -/ Brufen-400 mg x 2 time x 5 days
Rest and elevation for 5-7 days.
Infra-red radiation x 5-7 days.
Voltaren gel locally x 5-7 days.
If no relief in 5 days time, Consults with Orthopedic opinion and Posterior BK(Below Knee) Slab with further treatment could be needed.
