Suggest Remedy For Swollen Lymph Nodes Behind Earlobe

Hello, I have been getting a bump behind my earlobe that comes and goes. Whenever I touch it, it gets bigger. I don't know whether it is a keloid or swollen lymph nodes. I went to the doctor several months ago and was told that it was an insect bite but it can't be because it has reoccurred several times.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Recurring lump behind the earlobe seems to be most probably swollen lymph node and it can be due to recurring infection in head and neck region..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist or a General Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like FNAC/MRI of salivary gland can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case if it is a swollen lymph node and it is due to infection he can be advised to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Advil or Motrin and do warm compresses over the lymph nodes..
In case if it is not swollen lymph node then other causes will treated according to the confirmed cause..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
