Suggest Remedy For Swollen Knee With Pain

my mom came home with a swollen knee pain. I put ice and while she couldn t walk to arrive to her bedroom, a very very very silly idea came up to me and I held her under her shoulders and she shouted and I felt it, her ribs have moved. I accidentally moved her ribs up. And now the ribs or bones under her breasts are hurting to the level that she shouts of pain especially when she moves. What shall I do please ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

I am still unaware about the type of injury that could have been caused, and just to make sure I would first like to rule out any displacements or such skeletal injuries with the help of an X-ray of the region. Once that has been done we can treat her for a muscular injury and accordingly go about rest, ice application, and pain management.

Best wishes.
